Description
Hand-built stoneware spoon rest impressed with a sugar skull motif. Glaze is called “Ancient Copper” – Iridescent copper color with dark brown and black undertones, food-safe glaze. (Keep in mind that monitor color varies)
Microwave and dishwasher safe. Will accommodate a regular serving spoon, spatula, or as large as a soup ladle. Could also be used as a candle holder, trinket dish, ring holder, tea bag holder, or key dish.
Practical and fun, it looks great sitting on the counter. Makes a unique hostess, wedding, or housewarming gift
The skull design is impressed in the clay and then the form is hand-shaped from my own design. Each hand-built, handmade pottery item will have subtle variations in the shape and how the glaze fires in the kiln.
